when commissioning a performance you are financing a complete series of works.
upon completion of the performance or feat, the commissioner will have first pick of the relics created from the piece and also be titled as the underwriter of the creation for that particular series of works in future showings.

Performance representation of Helios the titan.
Using a 75lb canvas punching bag as brush. I would take and soak each respective side in yellow or red paint, one representing sunrise, the other sunset. Hoisting the brush onto my shoulder i would walk the 25ft canvas and drop the bag onto the canvas at each end emulating the path of sunrise to sunset.

This performance is about the moment of transition between worlds. By pulling an ever increasing amount of weight up and dropping it onto a canvas clad copper plate, each weight is coated in oil paint and lashed to a master rope. Every drop of the weights records the cumulative strikes on the canvas and the copper plate underneath.
